The blade is made by employing the hottest craftsmanship- wire drawing process. It has mirror effect, and it has excellent rub and scratch resistance. Together with the characteristics of its material, the product possesses strong militancy. If you often practice cutting or go out for business or go out to travel, it is a fine choice as sports equipment or self-defense tool.

Manganese steel is one kind of high-strength steel. It is mainly used to absorb impact, squeezing and Physical abrasion. If add 2.5%-3.5% of manganese to steel, the low manganese steel will be made. It is as brittle as glass. However, if add above 13% of manganese to the steel, high manganese steel can be made. It not only has strong rigidity but good toughness. It is used to make helmet, tank armor and bullet of armor-piercing projectile in Military Affairs Field. Manganese steel is made by mixing the soft tin ore and iron ore which contains 60%-70% of manganese then refining, smelting them.

BLADE: The blade of this sword is hand forged and polished with 10 procedures.The steel we use is not the normal steel with the truck or cars or other life electrics,the steel use for the blade contents much more carbon and the purity can not be comparable.

TSUKA: The Tsuka (handle) is made of hard wood(wider on the 2 ends and thinner in the middle of the handle), tightly wrapped over real Samegawa (Ray skin) with synthetic leather ito. The Fuchi (sleeve) and Kashira (buttcap) are made of alloy. The Tang of the sword is secured by two Mekugi (pegs). Two Menuki (ornaments) are on each side of the Tsuka.

TSUBA: the tsuba is used to protect your hand from sliding onto the blade during thrusts.

HABAKI(blade collar): is a one piece brass construction. the main point of the habaki is to make the saya tight to the blade,so it is normal if there is scratch on.

SEPPAS(spacer): Two Seppas secure the Tsuba( if the tsuba is not so tight after a long time, you can disassemble the sword and put more seppas there.

SAYA: The saya (sheath) of the sword is made of hardwood,tied with Sageo brass Kurigaga (knob) of the scabbard.

BO-Hi: Bo-hi has been added to the blade in order to lighten it and provide audible feedback when swung. it is called Blood-Groove sometimes.

​This sword is fitted with high grade hi which stars from the position 2cm near the habaki.
